VOIP and video chat makes it easy to stay in touch with friends and family using your computer’s microphone and speakers. Some application which people use nowadays are Yahoo Messenger, Google Talk, etc.. But until now, this required both people to be at their computers, signed into Gmail at the same time. Given that most of us don’t spend all day in front of our computers, we thought, “wouldn’t it be nice if you could call people directly on their phones?” Starting today, you can call any phone right from Gmail.
Google had said to be working on incorporating Voice with its existing VoIP service and Gmail. As noted by CNET, Google could be ready to turn Gmail into a communications hub by adding the ability to make phone calls from the Google Chat interface. Speculation and rumors are heating up over what Apple plans to say at its anticipated iPhone 4 press conference on Friday at 10 a.m. Pacfic Time today. Singer Nicole Scherzinger tangoed and jived her way to ballroom stardom on Tuesday, winning a tight contest on “Dancing With the Stars” and ending a season that by most measures was the TV show’s best yet. Olympic gold medalist skater Evan Lysacek wound up second and sports reporter Erin Andrews trailed in third.
The results might have seemed predictable to some fans because Scherzinger, a member of the Pussycat Dolls, was the clear front-runner throughout most of the season and Lysacek was a close second.
Kristin Zippel has become Miss Tuning 2010 at the Tuning World Bodensee event in Germany. The 26 year-old beauty therapist from Mering, Germany wowed the judges in her bikini and evening gown to beat out Jennifer Ziegener and Irena, the runner-up and third-place finalist respectively.
